While I attended the Stampin’ Up OnStage event in Milwaukee this past April, I had the privlage of hearing Million Dollar Achiever Connie Fitzgerald speak about this set. She designed it in honor of children. Her son who was an avid cyclist who died too young, and her military daughter. I knew I had to have this set!
I created this card for a challenge in which we had to make a patriotic card using non traditional patriotic stamp sets!
I used Night in Bethlehem for the ‘fireworks’
This is an old project but I thought I would share it since it’s also one of my favorites! My son is a huge Batman fan and for 3 years in a row we had Batman themed birthday parties! This was the Thank You card I created for his fourth birthday!
Every year there is one set I just can’t let go even though Stampin’ Up has decided to retire it. This year for me it’s Work of Art. I’ve made too many cards to count with this set. Everything from Watermelon to Flags! Remember stamp sets on the retired list are only available until May 31st or until sold out!!
May 31st is the end of the year for Stampin’ Up and many of the products that you have come to love! Head over to http://jena.stampinup.net to see the official list. All products are available only while they last or until May 31st!
I am one of those stampers who just cannot seem to get rid of anything! This week we are working on Thank you cards for all of the amazing gifts we have received. This set seems perfect for my 6 yo son’s cards! These sets are dated 2001 and 2002! It is a super simple and easily mass produced card.
